Otisco Lake Campgrounds is a tiny individual campground situated at the south end of Otisco Lake. Otisco Lake is among the finger lakes. The campground is situated 20 miles southeast of Syracuse, in New York United States.
It is not far away from Skaneateles. The campgrounds provide a serene family atmosphere on the lake characterizing an easily accessible store with live bait, tackle, and boat docks on its ground. 50 locations can be rented for RVs, tenting, and cabins.
It provides canoe, kayak, rowboats, motorboats, and pontoon boats for hire. There is a ground for children to play on the playground. The lake provides good fishing and swimming. Bass, Walleye, Tiger Muskie, and, Trout are examples of fish found in the lake.
As you enjoy your canoeing and kayaking to the south end of the lake, you can watch turtles, ducks, geese, birds, and Bald Eagles in an Adirondack-type setting. It is owned and managed by the Ryfun family. The goal of this fascinating place is to offer its customers a relaxing, quiet, and stress-free vacation in a fascinating waterfront setting.
Food and Ambiance
The campground and bathrooms are nice, neat, and clean and the staff are amazing The restaurant has a unique menu, with local cheeses and many dishes that are fig-based.
They have friendly staffs who provide knowledge to select a cheese plate, fig salad, and a glass of grenache that pairs perfectly. Pricey, yet elegant and delicious. Nice the ambiance and good location on the Sonoma square. Amazing country-sourced French-inspired food.
The front of the restaurant has a bar, some sofas, a few tables, and a stand with their brand of jams among other things. You will get a table at the place where you want and they have many more tables. If there is cool weather in Spring, they have a huge plastic sheet over their collective heads.
Their menu is refreshed regularly to reflect the changing seasons and available locally-sourced produce. You will enjoy a Wild Flounder Meunière, Duck Confit (One Leg), and the Soup. The flounder is done perfectly with the skin &outside browned to be slightly crispy while the inside flesh remains soft &moist.
The duck and soup are both done very well. The servers can recommend for you a Zaca Mesa, 2013 Z Blanc, White Blend to go with your dinner and it complements the amazing food perfectly.

The camp is exceptionally clean, especially the bathrooms. They provide hot water in the showers. The camp has many things to do for family and friends or just for relaxing which is basically what most people visit there to do. You can come with your canine as the campground is pet-friendly.
You will love it as the camp store is always fully stocked with all sorts of things you may or may not need while camping. They also have ice cream at the store so you and your dog will enjoy that. The state park Chimney Bluff is about a mile drive away so you could take a hike in the woods there.
Reservations
If you would wish to place a reservation, please dial them on 315-636-9925.reservations need a fifty percent deposit to hold a reservation. Full payment is required for any holiday weekend, including the 3rd and 4th of July bookings.
Cancellations
If at any time you decide to cancel your reservation, you forfeit your deposit or payment. Upon management approval, you may receive a refund less a service charge if the campground can rebook your dates for a new customer.
It is advisable to check your rates before booking and make sure you will be available during the booked dates to avoid cancellations that eventually will lead to a loss of your money.
Laundry Services
Otisco Lake Campgrounds has a coin opp laundry, two washers, and dryers. You will not be stressed with your laundry as it is well taken care of.
New Pavilion
You can rent their new pavilion for your parties, may it be a birthday, graduation party or a wedding party. You can also rent the pavilion for reception, shower, or a big gathering.
