Conesus Lake Campground is located close to the banks of the lake. This makes it easy to go boating. Enjoy rental kayaks, pontoon boats, rowboats, and stand-by paddleboards. Enjoy hiking and fishing while the young ones are playing at the playground.

Sampson State Park
Sampson State Park comprises 2000 acres. It is located on Seneca Lake’s eastern shore. It has a dock with a floating site and more than 100 boat slips. The park is open from the beginning of April to late November.
It is a perfect place for people who enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing. Landlubbers can go hiking or play volleyball, basketball, tennis, or horseshoes. Near the Sampson State Park, there is the military museum and get to know about the origins of the park as a training station for the Navy.

Holiday Hill Campground is about 40 miles on the southern part of Rochester. Some of the most fascinating features in the area are the Roseland Waterpark, Rochester and Genesee Valley Railroad Museum, and Rochester Museum and Science Center. The campsite is operational from the end of April to early October.
It is an attractive place to take the young ones. There are also some other fascinating areas to adventure that are an hour’s drive far away or even less.
